Nick The biggest issue with the VK56DE is that the engine never came with a manual transmission. I researched and found a company called Wilcap that made an adaptor plate for the 6spd 350z/g35 trans to bolt up to the VK engine. I contacted Wilcap and they sold the rights a guy named Neo in Southern California. I called up Neo and he had only one adaptor plate left, but it was to be used for a G37/370Z transmission. He also had a G37 trans as well. Neo had alot of knowledge about the engine and transmissions. He stated that the G37/370Z trans is a much better made transmission. I had him send me both transmission and adaptor plate. It took a month to get but was another big piece I needed to make this swap happen.
